As Patti say, that sounds like the "blue slip", the litter registration form. If that more official form from TICA has the same birthdate and names of parents then I think the kitten IS what it is represented as and all is well. Then it is a matter of if you fell an emotional pull towards him and would love to have him as your pet

That sounds like a litter registration, odd that they would give you that. How old is your boy? If not too old (and you're interested) you might be able to create an account with TICA at online.tica.org and generate a registration slip which you could then fill out and register him with TICA in your name.

he will be a year on feb 4

That is not a bad age at all to adopt a savannah. He should transition well.
