Who cares as long as you love him? He's intended as a pet (can't be shown or bred even if you wanted to) so rosettes just add to his charm and uniqueness
Awh thank you thats actually incredibly comforting to hear and a good humility reminder. I just really really don't want the super outgrown rosettes, if it keeps that shape though I'm fine. I've waited a long time and worked so hard to get as genuine a savannah as possible while staying practical for my 1st, so I'm extra sensitive i guess haha

Welcome to the forum, your new boy is a total cutie. I have a F2 with rosettes and even though he is not standard, he a real looker too. You can find photos in the into's under Max.

My best advice is to give your kitten time to adjust. I would separate Max after his quarantine to give him and the other cats a break. My guy is very high energy and is only now at three years that he is settled down?

Good luck!

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your kitten. Where are you located that it would take 10 hours to drive? Just curious as I see the kitten is from mid South Savannahs in TN!

If your not showing or breeding I wouldn't worry about breed standards too much. When I was looking my first concern was personality, then looks and I didn't go by standards, I went by what looked good to me.
Hey, looks don't matter anyway. Just ask my wife!
