As Witchy Woman said, you can throw in chicken legs and thighs, and organ meat. Personally, I feed my cats a premade raw, and they get random bits as treats. Their regular diet is nutritionally sound so anything else I throw in is just a bonus.

Raw chicken? Just want to be clear.
Yes, raw. But not breast meat which doesn't contain as much of the minerals and taurine as dark meat. You can feed dark meat turkey as well as cornish game hens. If you feed beef heart, feed only small pieces -- 2-4 ounces at a time and only 1-2x a week because too much at a time can cause a short bout of diarrhea.

One of the reasons I'm suggesting chunky meats is that it slows down the cats eating and gives it time to feel full. If you are free feeding -- leaving kibble down all day -- I would stop that and provide food only at designated meal times. When kibble is left down all day, the aroma as well as the availability of the food messes with normal digestion/hunger cycle. You can read all about it here http://www.catinfo.org
