Abbass Blood in poo

Hi,

Abbass have blood in his poo. I went to vet with his poo for a checkup and nothing is bad. The next day, the poo was good. Tonigh, i checked again and have blood again.

His back had blood itoo.

We think he ate a plant...but in very small portion because the door is always close.

What i need to do ? A X-ray ?

I think he definitely needs a recheck at the vets. Be sure to tell them exactly when you noticed blood, and the amount of it. Do you know what kind of plant he ate...was it a live plant?

I think it a very small portion or Anthurium ‘andraeanum’.

Tomorrow i Will go to vet with him.

What other can be to Blood thé poo? His energy and playing is almost samething

From what I understand, if the blood is on the 'outside' of the poo, it is usually an irritation and can be from poor form, or things like that. If its mixed in, its more worrisome as it can be from the GI. Usually though, GI bleeds aren't visible in the stool, and require an occult test.

Hi,

I went at the vet with Abbas, and it gave us some prohibiotic. He had the irritable bowel.

Probably cause by chicken, it cooked but me i have some dirrhea, so the vet thank he had the something of me.

Thank you for letting us know about Abass' vet visit...is your vet thinking you might both have a parasite from eating chicken...did he say anything about E. Coli or salmonella from eating chicken that you both might have eaten from the same package or source?

What made your vet decide Abass has irritable bowel syndrome?

I don't think it was E. Coli or Salmonella, because i only have 1 symptom of each disease

She did visual exam with toucher exam.

No blood in his poo, but it begin to have diharea.

Can be Tritrichamonas?
