I have an another question.

We are two in the apartment, me and my girlfriend. All about education, feed, litter etc. it only me i do it. So Abbas prefer and privileged to see my girlfriend than me (in the night), he sit on her etc.

Do i need change something or it normal the kitten privileged someone ?

I think it can be frustrating when someone buys a kitten for themselves and the kitten chooses the other person as "their human". Normally it is the person that feeds them but sometimes it isn't... there is something about your girlfriend that he prefers. You can try treats and play and give it time, but cats are particular animals and sometimes they make those choices...

My girlfriend think because she is not nervous like me. I have some disturbing things in my live at this moment like big exam of my live, i'm studying to being an accountant and the final exam is soon.

I dont want Abbas choose her as his human, because if something arrive between me and her, sure he will leave with me.

If she is not in the house, he will come to see me. Sometimes, he follow me in the kitchen but come back to see her.

Your girlfriend has a point, if you are stressed and anxious and on edge...then it makes sense that Abbas is gravitating to the calmer person.

Take this opportunity to let Abbas help you. Actively work on relaxing and letting go of everything else when you're with him. You both will gain.

It is possible that he is picking up on your stress but sometimes animals just prefer one sex over the other. If his breeder is a female it may be that he is just more comfortable around females and that is who he naturally gravitates toward. It may also be that he sees your other cat as yours, so he has chosen a human that can be all his.

@Patti: Yes it sound good. The breeder and the manager here is a female. She live with her boyfriend, but it mostly her with kitten etc.

I will accept this if it his choice, i want the best for him.

Mya she jealous i think, she dont come anymore on us in the night :(

How much do you play with him? Kittens are all about play and this seems to create a strong bond. You might want to increase the number of play sessions you do with him. They are such goofballs when they play that it should help alleviate your stress as well!

Also....as far as the sleeping arrangements....Abbas is young and it could be that he sees your girlfriend as "mom". My male cat is more tightly bonded to my husband but both cats cuddle with me at night. When we first introduced our SV to our boy, he did stay away some at night. If I woke up in the middle of the night and he wasnt there, I would go find him and carry him (with plenty of hugs and kisses along the way) back to bed with me. It was my way of telling him that the new kitty had not taken his place. It worked for us.

That's a great suggestion. Anything that will help the older cat feel loved by its humans and not displaced by the new cat is a good thing.
