Jon Spelbring
Savannah Kitten
Bless you Jon for taking in this poor little guy! I can't fathom him being passed around so many times, but he is a very fortunate fellow for having lucked upon you! I look forward to hearing more about how he is settling in, in the days and weeks to come![]()
OK. Here is my first funny Taz story. He still freaks out a bit when the other cats get too close. No fights, just panic. So, I'm sitting on the sofa with him, all is well. Next thing I know, he's yelling, scrambling and running. On the tile in front of the fireplace is a cat statue - made of resin, maybe 1/3 his size. He assumed it was another cat and panicked. I guess statues can be pretty stealthy. I went and "rescued" him, brought him back to the sofa, to show him it was a statue - he panics again! I let him calm down a bit, then carried the statue over to him, holding it upside down so it didn't look like a cat anymore. He didn't panic, but I think there was a bit of feline embarrasment.
