I keep receiving unwanted email alerts to one certain thread even though I keep going to my preferences and turning it off on my profile page and even unclicking it on the options of the actual thread - HELP!

It does not stay unclicked! Every time I recheck it is clicked again. So weird! It's the Atticus Diaries thread. I am loving reading the thread ( and all the threads) but I don't want any email notifications. It's been going on for awhile now and I keep unclicking etc. but it keeps coming back! Btw that kitten is the cutest thing I've ever seen in my life. Haha! I think he might be trying to tell me something

It may be that you have clicked on 'Watch Thread' and that is why you are getting emails. Click on the 'Watched Threads' at the top of the page and if it's listed there, uncheck it.
