Amara is super angry

So the remenace of hurricane Rosa is here in az and 2 evenings in a row Amara hasn't got to go out side and she is super cranky about it.
I took her out for about 5 min today in between showers and she hopped from puddle to puddle, then the rain started again and her time was up.
So now I'm dealing with a cranky kid. Won't even play catch she's so mad.

Have you tried a wand toy? You might want to consider a cat wheel, although prolonged rain is so rare in AZ it's not really a great excuse for one. At least the rain seems to have petered out for now, although I think it's supposed to return this weekend...

Amara has a kitty wheel , she still gets really upset when she's doesn't get to go out, it's actually comical, it's the only time she gets real vocal too.
Her internal clock is pretty amazing aswell, everyday around 5:30 she starts spazing out and screaming, till shes gets carried out at 6:00.
But if there's no outside time, something gets destroyed and she makes sure she lets me know she wants nothing to do with me

Im continually amazed at cats personalities. They do get their message across. I truly believe ( since they are passionate about routine) they have a daily check list. And can’t move to the next thing on the list until the previous one has been checked off. The one point that works that I feel pulls a fast one( ha ha) is when it’s horrid weather and it’s time according to Emma Mae’s check list to go outside. We go outside but she doesn’t know time duration perse. So we go out briefly. And when we come in she licks herself clean and goes on to the item on her list. But we’ve been out! Don’t use that a whole lot, but at times it comes in handy and avoids the long drag out moaning up and down the hall.
Wondering how often Amara uses the wheel. Which one did you purchase.

Took some work to get her used to it but she is now comfortable on it and gets a good run in. Squeakerz uses it too, not as often tho.

One of the funniest things I ever saw involved the girls and the cat wheel.
Amara and Squeakerz were wrestling and Squeakerz broke free, Squeakerz bolted Amara hot on her tail, Squeakerz jumped on the wheel started jogging, she looked back seen Amara right behind her to her right, so Squeakerz started running as fast as she could, she looked back Amara was still THERE!! Squeakerz then stopped and laid down and had this look on her face "that didn't work like I thought it would".

Oh my goodness. Facial expressions on these loved ones are priceless. Again wish go pros were reasonable priced. Thank you so much for sharing. I can remember we we all as members here were awaiting the first u.s. made wheel became available.....Then all awaiting for the first reviews. I’ve been searching for a decent size one that can be mounted to the wall. There is one but it’s on the small side. Don’t have any floor space. I know she doesn’t get the amount of exercise she should but I do my best. Thanks again for sharing
