Dantes, That cat veranda thing is really cool. Where did you get it and is it easy to install?
I'm glad my cats don't use the internet....they would be really jeolous of your cat furniture!

Hi Kristin! Out of curiosity, I would like to know if Nyah is happy we got Kovu, and if Nyah knows how important she has become to Tycen, my husband. Of course I love her to pieces, too, but she has really touched Ty's heart and is is go to for stress relief! I also want to be sure Kovu is feeling happy and loved in our family. Hope I didn't use more questions than is polite! View attachment 10114

Hey Becki,

You can ask as many questions as you want, doesn't bother me at all :)
So I talked to Nyah first (her picture is hilarious btw). She said: Kovu is find as far as kittens go. She said he still has a lot to learn, but that she will teach him and he'd better listen! LOL! She said she absolutely looooooooves Tycen. When I said his name I could practically hear her purring :p She said she loves you but there is nothing better than snuggles with Tycen. I got the idea that she likes to snuggle on his chest. I asked her if she feels left out or anything with having a kitten around and she said, "Kovu couldn't steal my limelight if he tried". I asked her if she had any messages or questions to send your way and she said "I love these people so much, they are so great to me".

Kovu......Kovu is freaking hilarious! I could feel his energy, he is such a clown!! I introduced myself and asked if I could ask him a few questions and he said "Yeah!! Sure!!" I asked if he was feeling happy and loved in your family and he said "This place is AMAZING!! I've got room to run, someone to run with, food to eat, and awesome people. What more could a kitten want?" I asked him how he is feeling physically and he said he feels great, he wants to run and play and pounce haha. I asked if he sleeps haha and he said he loves to snuggle with Nyah...but Nyah isn't so sure? I asked him if he had any questions or messages for you and he told me to tell you to play with him...pick up a toy and play with him LOL! I guess he is feeling pretty hyper right now :p

Thanks, Kristin! Nyah always sleeps on Ty's legs, that is her spot. Nyah gets annoyed when Kovu gets wiggly at bed time,he tends to jump on her when she is still sleeping. Kovu is a clown, and a hyper guy who is on full speed ahead more often than not. He was running around like a maniac when I read this. Nyah was playing, but every now and again, would look at him like "wow are you an idiot!" I think he is going to grow into a stunning cat, but right now he is just a goofball. He is having another growth spurt, we are back to eating non stop. I think I should just get him a side of beef!

Hi Rafiki, it's a pretty cool product, I got it a few years ago on Ebay. From what I could tell, the guy who originally designed it, patented the design. But then there was a problem with production. The company that sold them tried to copy the design and he sued them. So now nobody makes them or sells them. I don't know if any of this is 100% true, but I remember looking for a 2nd one for a friend and that was sort of what I came up with.

I think this was it once upon a time:

Oi!! I thought I responded earlier...its been a busy weekend sorry!!

Kovu had me cracking up, he must just have you guys in stitches! Nyah is such a sweetheart, and is really happy to look out for her brother. What a good girl:in love:

I just thought I would mention too that each animal communicates differently. Some use pictures, some use videos, some use ideas, some use thoughts, and some use feelings...and more often its a mixture of them all. This leaves me interpreting the things they are saying, so there are definitely times when the message gets mixed up in translation, or I missed the meaning. Everything is also from the animal's perspective, and they see things VERY differently then us. Just to help everyone understand some of the "?????" moments lol.

The last one said pretty much the same things you did. That he liked living with me, but he wanted to go out. and that his compromise on the peeing was that he'd stop if he got to go out. He can't go out anymore because the neighbors are complaining about him--him, not the other 6-8 cats that roam almost free all day.

The one before that we were still investigating a medical explanation for the peeing, she didn't say anything about his attitude and only suggested changes for my attitude.

I don't think he takes me seriously either. He whined incessantly for several hours yesterday, and then suddenly he stopped--but he only stopped to pee on the sofa, which seemed to relieve his frustration for a little while. On top of the peeing, this morning he door darted and made me late for work. He spent over an hour in the bathroom yesterday. I wish I had put him in there this morning, but 8 hours in the bathroom seems a little cruel.

:( I told Dante that this behavior could get him booted, and he basically said "I'll take my chances"...I'm sorry he behaves this way, and I wish I could do more.
I still haven't made it to my Reiki Master, but as soon as I do, I will send some Reiki your way to help with the situation in general, and Dante is particular.
