Agreed, it is just common courtesty... I think in this day of emails, because it is less "personal" people just don't bother to behave as they might if dealing face to face. Or society is just getting lazier and ruder ;-)

I was surprised at the reaction I got with the breeders I had left information with regarding this! I was out of the country without Internet for a week or so and came back and responded back apologizing for the delay in response but we had already found our Savannahs with another breeder.

She replied saying something along the lines like not to worry at all as she gets a TON of no responses back and she appreciates the fact I actually told her! It really shouldn't be the case to start expecting no responses back.

It's just common courtesy I think to not have someone waiting to hear back from you.
I do consider it a courtesy when someone responds, but I don't really expect it because it seems common practice for inquirers not to. I think it's pretty clear if someone doesn't respond to the info you've sent then they're not interested in what you have to offer. It is the people who string me along for days, or even weeks on end and then suddenly disappear and stop responding that irritate me.

The net has killed common courtesy in some respect. Most people are sending
short messages and not even thinking about what they just typed out. In IT you
se it when you get a frantic message asking if youi gan stop an Email that so and so
just popped off and sent without thinking about just how rude it was. Having done
Email and tech support from way back in the Windows 3.1 days I learned a long time
ago to say Thank You and also reread anything I am going to send and
NEVER send it in a HOT mood.

I am all for more Common Courtesy on the net.
Thank You to the Admins and Sponsors.

Thank you Sean! I was a network admin for a few years and have also done tech support, so I know exactly what you are referring to ;)
