If you are talking about FeLV he can get it at any age, just like rabies, herpes, or any other virus. The very young and very old are more susceptible to infection because in the former the immune system is immature and in the latter it is wearing out, but these diseases are not otherwise age specific.

I thought I read something about immune system being pretty good at fighting it off once hits 1 year old. But you make a good point, i plan on bringing it up with the holistic vet to see what their opinion is. As you know I'm hungry for knowledge
