Are there breeders in Pennsylvania?

I didn’t send thousands yet :)
And would never do that unless I see the kitten with my own eyes
The site is just not taken care.
I still hope it’s not a scam tho.
So you will go check the breeder out in person before handing over the remainder of the purchase price? That's something.
Personally, as this isn't a well-known breeder (Paige knows of him but I don't as he's not at all involved in our breed group), I'd ask for references to talk to past buyers. Are both parents of this kitten a registered Savannah? You said that you've traced the original breeder, I'm assuming of the F1? While it's hard to go wrong with an F1, hard to produce an ugly one... the F2 generation is more strongly influenced by the other cats in the mix along with that Serval granddaddy...
Additionally, check out what health testing the breeder has done on the parents of this kitten.

I didn’t see the forum before. I did not actually realize there are too many nuances, I’ve to count as I am a straight enough person.
And if the kittens are TICA registered how can they be a bengal mixed? I’m confused much more now.

Well have you seen the actual papers? Breeders toss that around, then never deliver those papers. Another reason it is best to have a signed contract.

They "can" be registered, but the papers will reflect that the cat is outcrossed with another breed. It's not a problem as a pet owner, if you aren't going to breed, but it would devalue any kittens you might produce if you bought that F2 as a breeding cat. Additionally, you shouldn't pay as much for an F2 with a non-Savannah father... and you shouldn't expect it to look quite as good as an F2 from a better program breeding Savannah to Savannah.

I find "names" without cattery names very uninformative. The mom looks like an F1, as I said it's hard to go wrong with an F1, still she has rosetted spots indicating Bengal heritage on her mom's side. But the dad, "Safari"? Not sure what breed he is, but he has the glitter of a Bengal...

SBT Savannah or SBT Bengal? Either way, he's not immediately recognizable...which to me is worrisome. 15 years ago we'd take any fertile Savannah male we could, but nowadays there are so many nice SBTs out there. But as I said, if you are looking for a pet, it is what appeals to you. I'd be more concerned about health testing, socialization of kittens etc...

Hm, he never mentioned Bengal. Although, the more I look at them, the more I’m getting to the the thoughts of their Bengalish ancestry. I’m not into breeding or anything, but I didn’t imagine there could be such complications. I simply did expect that if such an amount is paid, everything should be ok, you know, this is the way I’d do.
Btw, he has sent me the copy of contract, and honestly, I’m totally discouraged as it looks to me like you’re getting the kitten and everything is your responsibility and you have 72 hours to find out if there is anything wrong with little chap.
Don’t know is it standard form of a cat sale contract or....

Yes Watusi’s mom is a full Bengal, hence the rosettes.
