Asking for advice on seriously vocal Savannah

:) We have three F3 Savannah girls..2 are 2.5 years old and one is four years old. We also have an African Serval. We live in a 3,500 square foot home with two large outdoor enclosures connected to the house. Outside the enclosures are woods. Our babies are fed top of the line dry food, wet food, and for the serval...Primal and raw chicken. They have plenty of toys, get along well, have access to humans whenever they want...and sleep with humans at night. They all have regular visits to our veterinarian who has a lot of experience with Savannahs and servals. Our home human wise is a very peaceful place. I tell you all of this so that we do not have to play a back and forth Q&A. Here is the issue. We have one F# girl that constantly whines...if she is downstairs she wants to be upstairs...bring her upstairs she immediately wants to go back downstairs. It never ends. We are very gentle with her but after two and a half years of this we are all getting stressed out. We have tried putting her in a quite place and waiting it out many times...that DOES NOT work. We had her checked out by vet....nothing wrong with her. She plays with her mates.... we play with them a couple of times at least per day. We have given her a lot of extra attention...nope, does not work....if you have any suggestions we would love it. Blessings to you.

One thing I didn't see (and thank you for all the info in your intro post) is are the Savannah girls spayed or is this a hopeful F1 Savannah program? If intact, female cats are more hormonal and often that corresponds to more fussy, difficult and vocal. Hence an important motivator for this situation.

Is the upstairs separated from downstairs then, if she can't just follow you about like it sounds like she wants to?

Definitely some individual cats are simply more vocal, just like some human individuals are chattier types. With the Savannah breed there were some vocal cat breeds used in breed development, because you've probably noticed your Serval isn't as vocal. Bengals and Orientals are the main culprits when Savannahs are loud. So it is hard to tell if this is just a noisier cat than the others or if there is something awry.

Agree with Brigitte, the degree of vocalization in a cat is usually an individual thing, and with Savannahs can depend a great deal on the breeds used in its background. But also as she pointed out, if the girl is intact that will add to her calling. Best thing for that is to breed her.
