Have you tried putting the stroller in Azidi's room so that she can check it out and sit in it without it being closed? It is another method for introducing everyone - but Regie and/or Kiki in the stroller and take them in her room, or put her in it and take her out of her room while the others are out and about.

Yes I took it in and left it and she got in and crawled all over it, but when I got close enough to close it, she hopped out and looked at me and her expression was "NOPE ya ain't gonna get me in that." I am going to try to associate the stroller with outside for her. keep it out next to the back door. And Try visualizing her in the stroller out in the back yard. Hopefully she will pick up on it.

Strange night tonight. Kilifi and Regie were sleeping, Kilifi in the recliner, Regie in the back room, and suddenly both cats woke up with tails about 3 inches in diameter, and their backs were up as high as could be. They both slinked over to the back door and looked at each other and then seemed unsure of each other. after about 5 min of checking out the area, both came over to me and lay down at my feet and wanted daddy's reassurance. Now they are fine, but whatever it was that spooked them gave me the willies too.

Been a while since I have posted anything. Been somewhat busy.

The walking with the kids is having a good effect on them. This AM on the walk, the neighbor 3 houses down was out and saw them and was impressed so I stopped and talked with her for a bit. She got right up close to the stroller and they did not draw back. She put her hand up to the screen and both of the kids sniffed and head butted her hand. I was very surprised as, in the past, they would growl and/or hiss at anyone who put their hand next to the stroller. Maybe they are getting more confident being outside.

Azidi is still a little standoffish with the kids. She is very happy when she is out now though. She is becoming more at ease and will come to me when I call her. When it is time to go back to her room, she reall hollars at me. Very loud and emphatic meows. I think she does not want to go back in her room. I am really working trying to get her to accept the kids , so she can be out with them. I see SOME indication she MAY be softening. We shall see.

I know Savannah cats can be loving, but Regulus has become my little shadow. MOST of the time. I walk close to him and he reaches out to pull me close so he can lick lick lick, and PURRRRRRRRR. He sleeps at my feet when I am sitting in the family room.
Both He and Kilifi MUST be present when I go to the batroom, or take a shower. I have had to insist that they spend the night out of my room, as they just HAVE to run and chase and jump all night long. And a 12 lb and 10 lb cat jumping on my head and chest does keep me awake. They seem to be OK with it now, but in the morning, you would think I had been gone for weeks. ESPECIALLY Regulus.
Gotta love them!!!

Glad to hear they are doing so well Cary.

Our boys don't do well with being locked out, they cry incessantly. I'm jealous that you are able to have a night by yourself! Mike and me inevitably cave before the kitties do.

Awww. I am so sorry Nikki. REALLY... ;)
They have always been ok with it. I guess I am just fortunate they will not complain. But I pay the next morning with their incessant "love me now dad". ;)
