She is very watchful of him, but he does get her dander up every so often. He bites her neck like he is mounting her, but he does not get on her. Of course, she will have NONE of that!!! SO she yowls, hisses and bats a lot. I usually will let it go for a bit then when I think he has not gotten the message, I stop him.

Side note...off the subject... Azidi is walking over the wheel. Not getting on to make it turn, but stepping on it. Also she is head butting it. Claiming it as hers????... SHe is looking at it trying to figure it out....methinks.

I tried tonite. She was ALMOST ready, but still a bit unsure. I have high hopes though.

Holy Batwheel, catman. I was just in with Azidi and had the laser pointer. I was talking to her and dancing the green dot around on the floor, walls, ceiling, wheel etc. Without warning, she nonchalantly hopped on the wheel and tried to walk up to get the dot about 1/3 of the way up the side of the wheel. I raised the dot a bit and she began to run. She ran after the dot for about 15 - 20 seconds. Then, just as nonchalantly as she was when she got on, she just stepped off. I ran the dot around a bit and she just sat there looking at me. SO, I began to heap praises on her for being such a smart girl and being brave and trying it and as I was praising her she head butted the wheel and came over and head butted my leg. Then she just sat down as if to say "ok, I'm done. "
I am happy. She got it going pretty good.

I would not be at all surprised if I hear her on it in the middle of the night. ( She is a night owl. Sleeps all day.)

Went in with the Laser pointer and was flitting the dot around. Zidi was rubbing me and head butting me. Without warning, Azidi hopped up on the wheel, and seemed to be waiting. I put the dot on the wheel up a bit, and she began walking. I put it up higher and she ran a bit. then she got off and started head butting the wheel. I was cheering her on and she was prancing around so proud. I will try again later tonight when I go in for the long playing session.

I think I have finally found something we are both connected to.

Ok. I will stop the play by plays on the wheel thing. AFTER this report.

I went in and started playing chase the dot with Azidi. I sat down on the floor next to the wheel. She came over and between short spurts of dot chasing on the floor, she would head butt and body rub me and the wheel. Then, without any warning, she stepped on the wheel and began slowly walking. I put the dot up forward of her and she began trotting. She did this for about 3 min. Long enough to become a little winded. Then she just sat there on the wheel while I told her what a smart girl she is. She kept head butting me and the wheel. Then, quietly she stepped down off the wheel and began washing. SHe meowed at me a couple of times and I got the impression she was finished with the wheel for now. She laid down and I left the room.

She is AMAZING me. She is also much more tolerant of my touching her. she will let me rub her belly and pull her tail. She love the attention. Still won't let me put 2 hands on her, but is much more comfy with one hand. And whenever I walk into the room, she says : "wew wo" With inflection that sounds like "Hello" SO I reply Hello and she them comes over to me. I cannot describe how much I am drawn to this cat. She is my mature lady who gives me heart love.
