Maybe my idea of average is different. I think 9- 10 lbs is average. I still think he will be larger. Maybe 12-14 lbs We shall see.

I SO AGREE!!!!!! I am just watching the development. Learning. Being amazed at how fast he is growing. I will weigh him in a bit and we shall see if he is 6 lbs today.

Woo hoo. My sweet Kilifi has finally topped 10 lbs today. And Regie is one oz away from 6 lbs, at 5 lbs 15 oz. But they are still my wonder children.

It does not look like it. I think all her exercise is building muscle. She feels firmer. I am watching her closely.

Woo Hoo!!!!! I decided to try letting Azidi look outside her room again. I put Kiki and Regie in their room, and left the door open to Zidi's room. After about 10 min I needed to get some lotion form my room and when I went down the hall she was in the Living room and ran back in her room. I told her it was OK and to go ahead and look around. I got my lotion and went back out to the family room and continued watching TV. After 10 or so min, I quietly went and looked in the living room...she was there looking around, She started to run but I told her it was OK and to look all she wanted. She did. So I left her alone for another 10 or so min and went and she was no longer in the living room.I went down the hall to go to her room to give her praise and love for being so brave, and as I went down the hall, she ran from MY bedroom to her room. SHe had been looking around MY room. FIRST TIME she had gone in there. I went to her room and looked in and she was just inside the door looking at me. I told her she was a brave girl and that I was so proud of her for looking around. I then came back out to leave her alone some more.

You may be right Nikki. He may be showing her that if he can get along with Kiki, being a baby, and is not afraid of the rest of the house, maybe she should give it a try. I praise her and give her loves every time I go in just to reenforce the action. She LOVES love and pets.
