Azidi has really become a lover of raw beef. She loves her daily cubed steak portion. Understand, this not all she eats. She still wants her Taste of the Wild dry. But since she is eating the beef, she is filling out a bit. Her sides are not caved in like they were, and I cannot feel her spine when I pet her. And I THINK the beef is making her more brave and bold. She has become less skittish when out and looking around, and she comes to me when I call her for lovin'... Very mouthy too.

Yes. Definately. And not just talking. She yells, very loud, when she is scolding me for not letting her out soon enough. LOL. She simmers down when I sweet talk her though.

Awww! So glad to hear she is really starting to bloom!! I know it's difficult living in a divided house with the kitties so I am happy that she sounds like she is getting more sure of herself. Do they talk to each other under the doors? Does she get to watch them from a distance, or not to that point yet?

Yes they do talk to each other. When I am NOT watching. ( They think...) And they watch each other constantly. She will come around. In time...

Wow. Got some beef strips cut for stir frying, and it appears Kilifi seems to think they are the food of the gods. She give the cubed steak a 3 or 4 out of 10 while the beef strips are an 8 or 9 out of 10. Azidi prefers the cubed steak. Regie says "eh" to both of them. But Kiki and Regie like the Darwin's raw turkey. But only once a day. For the AM meal it must be Blue Wilderness. At least I have some variety for them.

I think I have a strange kitty.
I bought a 20 inch floor fan today, The kind that sits on the floor not on up in the air, and when I set it up Kilifi was VERY interested in it. She quickly found out that there was a big wind coming out of the front of it, which she is not fond of, but NOT in the back. She also seems to like the sound of the fan whine and the feeling of the suction in the back. She has been sitting there in the back on and off for hours. When I went up and tried to talk to her through the fan, she looked at me wide eyed and ran around to the front to paw my mouth and look closely at me. I think the sound of my voice warbling through the moving blades had her a bit concerned.
She is a hoot...
