I have a couple of cats that like to hang out behind my floor fan when it's running. I never thought much about it but I bet you're right - they like the feel of the suction back there when it's on.

Kilifi is a funny girl. One of my favorite bedtime snacks is a peanut butter and butter sandwich. Well, I made one a few minutes ago and began eating it. Of course, anytime I have a snack, Kilifi MUST investigate to see if I am eating something she would want. True to form, she came up on my lap and started smelling my sandwich. She was unsure if it was something she wanted, so after a few smell checks, I dabbed a bit on her nose. She glared at me and began licking her nose. When she got a taste of it, she became a crazy girl and wanted my sandwich. I gave her a little chunk and she ate it and spent 10 min washing after. Now she is sitting behind the fan and meowing into the fan.
Regie had NO interest in the sandwich, but he is watching her be silly behind the fan.
My kids are .... unusual... but I love 'em Love 2

I think most cats love both butter and peanut butter - I have heard of folk using both to mask the taste of pills when medicating cats. Even better when it's just a snack to enjoy!!

Had my bi-monthly visit from Andrea today.

Kilifi is just fine. No issues at all. She is calm and happy and healthy.

Regulus is happy calm and healthy. But she did detect a little energy blockage in his throat chakra. She felt it was a little boy communication problem. She thinks he may be testing his dad's resolve and not getting what he expected. ( YUP!!) Also he may have a little throat irritation. (He has coughed a couple of times in the last week.) She suggested a little coconut oil to soothe his throat.

Azidi is also just fine. NO issues at all. She is calm and very happy because daddy is talking to her and being her friend. She likes her daddy. She was calm enough today to allow Andrea to come in, sit on the bed, do the energy work and NOT run into the closet. Azidi was sitting in the window. Also just before Andrea left Azidi's room, Andrea lifted the curtain and looked straight at Azidi. Azidi looked back at her but felt no fear and did not run into her hidey hole. That was the first time Andrea had seen ALL of Azidi in person. Said for such a little girl, she has a BIG presence.

The kids missed Andrea a lot and were very happy to see her. Kilifi and Regulus were at her feet constantly and were looking thru her purse, smelling her and being sweet. Andrea told me she missed the kids too. So Sweet!

So we shall do this again in October.

We talked about food and since I have found a local source of quality frozen raw food I am gonna try some commercial frozen raw to see if the kits will eat it. More as that develops.

Well, Kilifi will eat Primal Rabbit... Somewhat...IF I put freeze dried chicken bit on it. Regie has turned his nose up at it..As has Azidi.
Neither has shown any interest in the Natures Variety Instinct Chicken. But I may have put it down too soon and it may have still been too cold for them.
Not giving up tho.

I've been trying to get Taji to eat duck. I was cutting it into microscopic sized pieces and putting it under his regular food. By the time I left for Europe, he would eat one piece a day. The cat sitter said he ate a quarter cup a day for her. I was elated. Well, you can guess what happened when I got home. He's refusing to eat it. Fussing about food is just another of their favorite ways to turn our hair gray. Sigh.

I tried something today. When I went to the grocery store, I bought some Jeni O ground turkey to see if the kids would eat it. ALL THREE eat it IF I put kitty crack ( Freeze dried chicken ) on it. Kilifi eats and seems to love it, Regie will eat it as will Azidi. Since it is people food, I will not feed it exclusively. I will use it as a snack. A step in the right direction since they do not seem to care for the frozen raw I tried.
