OK. Andrea was here today. The kids are all fine.
We discussed the door open idea for Azidi, and she talked about the idea to Azidi. Azidi said it would be ok IF Kilifi would give her some space and not be aggressive. Andrea told Azidi she would speak with Kilifi about the idea, but said that dad would be on hand to make sure no one got hurt. Azidi seemed ok with that, so we shall see when Azidi is done with her afternoon nap.

The last picture really shows the size difference between their heads. Big baby Regie getting a face bath from his doting sis. Love it.

Yes he is larger than Kiki, and she is the doting sister. She adores Regie ...until he starts being male.
FYI... Andrea says that Regulus is no longer exhibiting little boy energies. His energy is strongly young man cat energy.

All righty then. I let the kids go into Azidi's room when I let them out after Azidi's house access time. Azidi saw them as they were walking in and trotted ( NOT ran) across the room and up into her closet hidey hole. Kilifi saw her and WALKED to the closet to look for Azidi. Regie was just content to look around. I left them in there for about 15 min alone, and they were good. Azidi remained in the hiding place. I had to threaten the water bottle to get them to leave. At least there were no hisses, spits, or even meows. And Kilifi was non aggressive, so hopefully Azidi will start trusting her.

I shall just increase the time slowly as I did with my attempts to get close to Azidi. I am sure now, after what Andrea said and what the kids did tonight, that it will not take too long for them to become civil neighbors and they can be free to be together all the time

Regulus and Kilifi seem more interested in playing in Azidi's room than in paying attention to her. She is hiding in her hidey hole on the top shelf of the closet in her room. Kilifi would pay passing attention to her closet as she would pass, but not go into it. They were in for almost a half hour. Azidi is not the least bit interested in dealing with them, but she is not freaking out.
