Okay, was watching my two more closely and Smooch puts her ears sideways when she does the sideways, hop around, Halloween cat thing trying to get Leo to chase her. Leo had his favorite toy and she got too close and he gave a little growl and HIS ears were straight forward. Now I need to check out those links on body language as I find this all very interesting.

I've had a cold for the past week. Today, I got some Halls Mentholypis cough drops. I put one in my mouth, and my cats will not come near me. NONE of them. I guess they don't care for the smell. I feel abandoned...

Awwww, just when you could use some extra kitty love! I was actually in the hospital a few weeks ago for acute bronchitis which I had never had before. The doc said if I get stuffy to use some vick's in the little purple jar. Both cats came running when I opened it and you had to see the faces they made to believe it. Squinty eyes and upper lips pulled up. If they could have been saying EWWWWW they would have. I think it's the same camphor menthol smell as the drops.

Tht is exactly what mine do. Even after The drop is gone. Oh well.
It has been about 30 min since the last cough drop, and Regie is coming closer. Kilifi is licking my hand. Azidi is sleeping. Go figure.

My lover Kilifi is an obsessive groomer. If I grt my hand or arm or face near her, It gets washed. When she is (or I am) finished, she goes back to grooming herself. Sheesh.
BUT, I love her so very much. I love them all so very much., But Kilifi is as close to a wife as 2 different creatures can be.

Had a wonderful visit with Deb (WitchyWoman) and hubby Alan today. They stopped by for a bit on their way to Sedona. Kilifi warmed up fairly quickly, but Regie was a bit of a stand off. Alan was able to get both the kids to sniff his hand. They both DID love to chew Deb's shoes tho. LOL Even Azidi was good enough to be seen by Deb....if only for a moment. Nice visit. Good people.
