Regie is not as plump as she was. But he is starting to fill out. Still feel his ribs rather noticeably tho. He never sits still either running or sleeping or eating.
LOL Regie, don't worry about Atticus. You are a marvelous boy and your own kitty. Cary…for most of his time here, Atticus was gaining 1-1.5 lbs every 10 days. Oy vey. The past 2 months he has leveled off to about a pound a month. Regie is a great weight and will likely be a nice sized boy. I'm gonna guess he'll top out at between 16-18 pounds.

That is kinda what I was guessing Deb. Up around his mama's weight. Regie is averageing 2 oz per day.

Today is 21 days since he came home. He arrived at 3 lbs 5 oz. He is now 4 lbs 10 oz. (well as of last night) SO, that works out to an average of 1 oz per day. Not gaining quite as fast as Atticus did, but still doing good. I think I have a good sized boy in the making. Whatever... his personality is as large as an elephant.

I just have to say, I am so much in love with little Regie. Not to say I don't feel the same for BOTH my girls, but it is nice to have a little boy around who compliments MY energy. The girls do get my energy in a quandry. (as do ALL females...)
Also, he is so much more a people cat than my girls. He likes lap sitting and being petted. Nice, MOST of the time. The girls like petting but not lap sitting.
And his purrs are MUCH MORE voluminous than either of the girls. Kiki I cannot hear...only feel. Zidi, I have to be real close to her to hear. They DO purr as often, it is just Regie lets me know from across the room.
He is also a less picky eater. Not a real big thing in my eyes as I am VERY picky myself, but it is nice to not worry.
He is just so much more expressive of his feelings. But I am sure that will diminish a bit with age. Kittens are always more gregarious, male or female. At least in MY experience.
I was so overwhelmed with a feeling of love for him that I had to say something. Pardon an old man's sentiments.
