She still has ear mites? When you treat her ears, do the tip of her tail too. When she curls up the mites can travel to the tail and reinfect.

I know, but she has not LET me treat her ears tail neck or any part of her body. I cannot hold her to treat her. She will not let me. And once she knows I'm trying, I cannot get close to her. IF I had 4 hands, then MAYBE. But I cannot hold her with 2 hands.

It's extremely stressful to have an animal you can't treat when the necessity arises. I have the same issue with Maliik. If he ever needs regular medication for any reason, I don't know what I'll do. He's had a couple scratches to his eyes over the years and one was pretty bad. The vet said I could take him in daily to be anesthetized and treated but I thought that would be way to stressful on his system. So I got mad because I was worried about him and decided I'd had enough. When he settled down for a nap, I scruffed him with a lot of attitude so he knew I wasn't joking around and I got those drops in his eye. Loooongest week of my life. I think that's when I discovered the soothing effects of vodka on my cheerios

I understand EXACTLY how you feel. But I cannot scruff her, without losing a substantial amount of blood. She is like the Tasmanian Devil when she does not want to be held. And I have to at least position her to scruff her, and she will have none of it. At least the vet has 2 other people to contailn her, towel her and then the vet can treat her. IF I can get her in the carrier, then the Vet can be the evil person.

I have never been able to get closer than 6 feet to her before she wakes up. She is super cautious and sensitive. I will get her treated. It may be a little bit of a task, but I will do it.

OK. Regie is 12 inches long, nose to butt., 10 inches tall at the front shoulders, and weighs 5 lbs 1 oz. My baby boy is growing.

Jarvis is very tough to medicate, I understand how you feel. Without Mike and I both, we would never had a prayer.

I'm going to imagine you have tried this already, but does feilaway help at all?
