She will not accept me giving her ANY medication. She had a bad kittenhood. she had to be medicated twice a day for a long time, so any attempt at holding her or giving her anything is met with an almost viscous rejection. When I take her to the vet, although i would rather not, she is restrained by 2 people while the vet treats her. I just cannot do this by myself. I would have to dress in a safety coat and gloves to protect my upper self. Even then, all I could do is restrain her. Someone else would have to administer the meds. Times like this make me wish I had a wife or girlfriend who was willing to help.
She will not even accept my petting her with a homeopathic mite repellant that does not have to go in her ears. The smell is enough to set her off. Sigh.

Oh, I am taking her in Monday when Regie goes for his next treatment.

The reason I mentioned revolution is that it does not have to go on her ears. I wasn't sure if she would tolerate it or not? It is a 1x monthly medication that also is an anti flea and tick medication and a heart worm preventive.
For Jarvis, I can apply revolution if I put Deli turkey on the floor, and then a quick squirt on the back of his neck, but I think he is a lot more food motivated than your baby is

Cary, I have mentioned this before, and once again strongly recommend you consider treating her with Revolution. Please ask your vet about it when you take her in. If you can't get her in the carrier you can purchase the doses from him and do it yourself (one dose now and repeat in two weeks). You don't have to scruff her or hold her, just squeeze the liquid on her back between the shoulder blades.

Yes they are making her grumpy. And I will ask the doc on monday. I have seriously thought about Revolution.
