Thinking so Kristin. Azidi is just turning into a lovely sweet quiet cat. She loves to chase the feather toy, and loves to be petted. Not to keen on being held. (Yet... I do so much want to cuddle and kiss her. ) But it is way cooler than it was 3 months ago. She will probably be forever a Loner, ( She's a loner...and a loner's got to be alone...) But at least she is willing to come out a bit if the others are behind closed doors. Maybe she will intgrate...who knows?

Sounds like Zidi is ready for the next step - coming out of her room when the other cats are out - either in a cage or on a leash. If you start with the cage and all seems well I would quickly transition to the leash.

I don't believe Zidi is a loner at heart, I think because she has always been intimidated by other cats she has been forced to be a loner. You might be surprised that one day you find her curled up on your lap purring...

I tried to put a walking jacket on Regie last night and was rewaded with a shreded right hand. I think I will need another hand when I have to jacket him. He is just so wiggly.
Kilifi is a good girl and wears hers with pride.
Never tried Azidi. NOT SURE I WANT TO.

As far as Azidi being a loner, I am going to let her determine how she wishes to live. I will continue to bring her out and let the others come close, but I don't want to make her do what she doesn't want to do. Right now, she is happy as a loner. Who knows?

I think its great that you are so willing to just let Zidi be Zidi...but she might not know that she would enjoy the company. I think its a good idea to keep exposing her, while still maintaining a comfort level for her :)

You will need to practice more consistently with the walking jacket if you want Regie to get used to it. It's hard to do the first couple of times, but once he gets used to it, it shouldn't be so bad... especially if he is rewarded by going outside.

I know you will let Azidi be whoever and whatever she needs to be and will not put unrealistic expectations on her - that's why you were chosen to be her dad

Leia was a fighter with the jacket the first couple times but now couldn't care less! The only reason my hand was not shredded was because I had four hands on deck, and one of them jingling a toy right in front of her face, hahaha.
Well darlin' I'm alone... So I suppose the hand shredding will continue. LOL

My boy is growing. He weighed in the AM at 6 lbs 8 oz. It has been so long since I have had a kitten, I am not sure what the weight of a 4 1//2 month old should be.
Kiki is at 9 lbs 12 oz.
