But he still makes me smile. He woke up from his afternoon nap and when he saw me he wanted me to come down to him so he could love me. 5 minutes of wash-love-wash-love -love -wash-love. I have never had a cat so Human bonded. I am so very much enamored to this little tyke.

Just for those who follow such things, Regie's eye is ok fine today. He is being the boy he is by chasing Kiki around.
I did finally realize why he is "attacking" my feet at night. He is gnawing. I have to get him a chew toy. Obviously his adult teeth are beginning to push their way out and he has some teething discomfort. If I rub his jaws he rolls his eyes back and purrs like a motorboat.

I really took notice last night of the size of Regies paws. They are BIG. (Shoulda named him Bigfoot...) IF he grows into his feet, I think he will be a pretty good sized boy.
Please don't get him a rawhide chew toy, or anything that is made out of skin - they are dried and when they get wet (saliva) and are swallowed, they can expand in the stomach and cause serious problems. Maybe a hoof or antler or some other non-expanding medium...
Mguu Kubwa is the Swahili translation for big foot - you could have called him Mguu (Magoo) for short!
