I use duck necks (dehydrated or raw) for chew toys. Jimmy gets dehydrated since I don't want to have to sterilize his cage and he goes mental for it. Zeddie won't eat a whole duck neck in a day....Jimmy will have it gone in under an hour

Interesting, I've never heard of dehydrated duck necks. Where do you find them, and what is the consistency of bone in dehydrated necks?

Ok Thanks Patti. Never thought of that, but makes perfect sense. I will find some NON expanding item. :)

Duck necks Hmmmm

Mguu Kubwa is the Swahili translation for big foot - you could have called him Mguu (Magoo) for short! :roflmao:
I think he would have been a little less happy with the name. ( English OR Swahili ) But it is funny. I still like Regulus. (Regie)

Well, Regie has decided to day to be a little juvenile delinquent today. He is knocking things off the shelves and entertainment center, and chasing and biting my toes. He is still cute as a button though.
Kilifi, on the other hand, is being a little Prima Donna . Not doing bad things, just expecting me to be at her back and call. She fusses at him if he just looks at her.

I am in for a wonder day.

OK. They were fairly good for the rest of the day. He has become my little shadow. Must be in my lap for scritches at least a dozen times per day. He fell asleep on my chest yesterday afternoon while I was napping. He looks at me with such a loving look. I have NEVER had a cat so loving before. OR into so much mischief. LOL

Kilifi has really started talking to me. She trills and meows a lot. She was never a triller before. Now she does it constantly. She will trill if she sees a bug, or if she sees him, or sometimes it is as if she just rememebred something and is saying "Oh yeah..." So sweet.

Oh I forgot. In the continuing saga of the Azidi territory expansion, She has been attempting to expand a bit. Monday night, she came out into the kitchen while I was typing here on the forum. She darted back, when she saw me look at her.
Last night she stood at the entrance to the kitchen while I made my dinner. As much as I tried to talk her in, she just sttod there. When I went to sit down to let my din din cook a bit, she wandered off into her room.
I think she is getting a bit braver.

Azidi has been out and running around for abut 20 min now, and has been out in the kitchen and out into the back addition. FIRST time she has been there. She just walked out right by me in the family room. She investigated the messy addition and was looking at everything till I said "good girl Zidi." She then trotted back to her room. She has been out since and is wandering around. I AM SO HAPPY WITH HER!
