Wow. Regie has developed an obsession. He has always liked washing and eating my hair, but now he has become obsessed. He will jump half way across the kitchen to grab my head with his paws...claws and all.. and pull me in close so he can devour my hair... purring so loudly the whole time. He gets so intent and determined, that I have to put him in his room till he calms down. I'm thinking this may be a dominance thing.

He may also just like the taste of your shampoo. I had a cat who did this with a particular conditioner I used and I had to give it up or else wear a cat on my head all day. LOL.

Hmmm. I use a tea tree oil shampoo and conditioner. I know that is kind of toxic to kitties. Maybe I better go back to Vidal Sassoon.

Jimmy did that the other night  Zeddie has never been a groomer, but Jim just went to town. When he started getting a little to agressively affectionate I moved him and he calmed down and went to sleep

Kilifi is a groomer but she likes to wash hands and arms. SHORT hair. Regie will wash hands and arms but when he gets wild he goes for the head. He becomes quite aggressive. I can control him and I usually have to put him in his room for a few minutes. He is good then, unless he is hungry...which is usually the trigger for his aggression.

Rafiki has a mint fetish. I would think that tea tree oil would repel them as to me it smells rather like menthol and thanks to last week's flu I know that she is not impressed by menthol!

And Cary, it could be worse. She also loves Steve's deodorant. If you think a persistent SV licking your head is fun, try one licking your armpits!

Eddies

Eddies a ham!
Mojo is being "Loving" when he nips my ear...Eddie is being aggressive when he puts :mad:tooth n nail into hubbys arm...if it's too close to me:eek:. Mojo only nips me, he head butts & rubs on the hubby, unlike Eddie Mojo shares his servant...Eddie is much more persistent in the 'THAT'S MINE' area...:in love:. Eiswein was playing with hubby today & guess who jumps in when Eisweintri mad: hollered to get down....:ninja: to the rescue...:Geeky:.

It is NOT the licking and slobber I dislike. It is the claws inserted in the sides of my head he uses to pull me close.
