Ok. Update on the mindset of my kids:
Andrea ( what a lady ) was by yesterday and when she sat down in the recliner, and as we were discussing the questions I had for the kids, Kilifi climbed up the back of the chair and sat right behind Andrea's head. Now this is VERY uncharacteristic behavior for her. She is normally very shy and withdrawn. Anyway, she let Andrea scratch her head a bit. Then she got down and hopped up on the entertainment center and began flirting with Andrea. SO Andrea ran with it and began "talking" to Kiki. Seems that Kiki loves Regie but so wants to be his BIG sister. She is somewhat aggrevated that he wants to usurp her position in the pecking order. She does NOT want to be Alpha, necessarily, but does want to be his protector and big sister. She just wants his respect. Andrea passed that on to Regie, so we shall see how it goes.
Regie was totally mesmerized by Andrea today. He walked all over her and had to smell her feet and all her healing tools. He captivated Andrea too. She said his eyes look very deep into you. I agree. She talked with him about wrestling with Kiki, up on the top shelf in the Family room...something that really gets me worried as he is so klutzy he has fallen a couple of times and once, he was a little dazed. But She was insistent about him calming down and also about letting Kiki big his big sister and NOT trying to be a BIG brother. We shall see...
Azidi was napping when Andrea went in, and when Andrea "searched" for her, Zidi sent strong thoughts where she was ( in her closet hidey hole. ) and Andrea saw her ear so began the visit. Azidi is VERY calm and comfortable with Dad not forcing her to do things she does not want to do. She feels my love for her and is very content. She does not seem to be quite as stand offish as she was before. She is also get much more comfy going out into the rest of the house when the kids are in their room. She is a very happy girl now and feels like her home is REALLY home.
All three of the kids are very healthy both in physical and in spirit. All energies are flowing smoothly and the only thing is to use some of the calming oil on the top shelves to, hopefully, calm Regie so he does not wrestle with kiki on the shelf.
Andrea was VERY surprised and pleased to see how much Regie has grown. She thinks next month he will probably have turned into a Serval..LOL
All in all, it was a great, informative visit. I am learning a lot about my kids, and it is helping me to relate.
