Thinking I will hold off on the screen door for about a week or so, just in case the girls decide to sign a peace treaty. I think the little man will woo Ms. Azidi over as he is such a heart throb. If it does not pan out in a week or so, then I will fix the screen door and put it back up.

HRMPH!!! Tonight was a giant step BACKWARDS! Took Kilifi in and she and Azidi were looking at each other and talking.and things looked like they were going well. Azidi in her tree and Kilifi on the bed when in a flash, Kilifi was on the tree and coming up the back, and when Azidi realized, she panicked and ran. The chase was on and they were all over the room. I was able to open the closet and Azidi went in with Kiki on her tail, but I was able to grab Kiki and I had to scruff her to stop her. She growled and hissed at me. ( FIRST time ever.) But I was able to control her and put her out of the room. I let her know I was not happy. There was no contact between them, but the emotions were running high. Azidi was still in her safe place when I last checked and refused to come out. I feel she may not trust me for a while. :(

Hang in there Cary.

My boys periodically call off their peace treaty, and yet they manage to turn it around. Sending you and your babies good thoughts that they wake up tomorrow in more tolerant moods.

Thanks Nikki. At least Azidi is NOT upset at me. She had to tell me all about it when I went in about 15 min ago. But she is hissy at Kiki through he door.

Jarvis gets hissy with D for days at a time.

Yesterday he snuck up behind D, booped him in the head, and shouldered him into a full bathtub head first.

In retaliation for being pinned about two hours earlier I believe.

Tonight, Jarvis and d were snuggling when we got home from dinner. Perfect relationship? Far from it. But they do manage.

I am optimistic. It is just that I hate seeing ( and hearing ) Azidi running frightened from Kilifi. She kinda screams like a scared little girl. Breaks my heart. ( although Kiki can not catch her. Azidi is FAST.)

I did not take Kiki in to see Azidi yesterday, but Azidi did come out while the kids were in my bedroom. She spent a nice long time at the back door chattering at birds in the yard, being loving with me, and just talking to me in general. She also was reluctant to go back into her room after a couple of hours of wandering. But when I did get her in her room, she was still my little head butting talking beauty.
The kids were not upset about being shut away for a couple of hours. Kiki just wanted to go into Zidi's room and Regs wanted loves, and skritches.
FYI, Regs has reached 11 lbs 9 oz, and is substantially longer than Kilifi, who is 10 lbs 6 oz. If I can get Andrea to help next time she comes over, I will attempt to get some measurements of the kids.
I love my babies!!!!
