Bad breath...recommendations needed

My boy has some stinky breath. I brush his teeth almost every night. I use CET and my cat has no problem with it. His teeth are very clean but his breath is stinky.

Can you recommend a product such as a spray that may help? I'm very nervous about buying anything off the shelf at a pet store.

He's 18 months.

thanks

Have you had him checked by the vet for a medical issue? If he is in good health maybe a change of diet is the answer. And it could be that the daily brushing is causing the problem. Better to determine the cause and eliminate it rather than using products that simply mask the problem.

Fish based or flavored cat foods and treats can cause stinky breath...I agree he should be seen by your vet to determine if the cause is from a dental issue or infection or from his diet.
