I want to start feeding Kumba raw food. I have no idea how to or what type of meat is best for him. I just want to consider it and see if its best for us.

Have you read through this forum? I believe there are several different recipes for homemade raw here, plus additional resources on how to make your own and available commercial alternatives. The pinned posts specifically have the information I think you are looking for.

Any time someone wants to trial raw I recommend starting with small samples of different types of meat to see what your cat(s) like most (nothing worse than buying 10lbs of raw then having your cat turn its nose up to it). Some of the most common proteins used are chicken, turkey, rabbit, venison, and beef. Additionally if you want to feed whole raw you can get mice, quail, rabbit, etc.
