Behavior Advice please

I don't know... she's not doing it to any other litterbox in any other location which kinda suggests it is location specific. You could try confining her to a room and see if the behavior changes ... but it is possible that this is going to persist. At least she DOES use the puppy pee pad I guess... if she then moved to just off that, it would be far harder to deal with. The puppy pee pad at least is somewhat workable in terms of cleanup?

Maybe post a picture of the litterbox where it is in the kitchen... just wondering if there is any other modification to it that might change this. What would happen if you put another litterbox in front of the one she uses?

When you tried moving the puppy pee pad into the litterbox, how soon after adding the puppy pee pad to the setup did you start that process?

When the puppy pad was on the floor in front of the box, she would go on the pad, but then also move over to the side of the pad and go there too. Also, while she has seemed to settle in to just this box, she has gone in front of the other boxes when she would use them. I also tried spraying feliway on the floor in front of the box, and she simply moved over to the closest area to the box that wasn't sprayed.

I did think about another litter box in front of the current one, but if I had to bet, I would say that she will just go on the floor next to that one, I will give it a try, though - I sure have enough extra litter boxes around !

Curious behavior to want to go to the area closest to the box that is not sprayed with Feliway. Would make me want to see how far that would go...spraying a larger radius.

What do you use to clean the floor when she pees on it? Anything with ammonia or bleach may prompt her to use the same spot. We recommend Anti-icky poo for cleaning. It's far more effective than anything you can buy in pet stores. http://www.antiickypoo.com/ I prefer the unscented. It's so good I even use it to spritz the trash compactor and outside trash cans. Eliminates all odor.

I haven't tried the comfort zone plug ins - maybe I should put a few of those in in the rooms surrounding the preferred bo

I am using a product called zero-odor which I have found to do the best job out of any of thr enzymatic cleaners I have used. The Zero Odor is good for all surfaces and I have used it on all the other spots in the house where she used to go, and have had no "revisits". Not sure if I ever used anti icky poo, but I think I did and didnt like the smell but could be wrong - I've used so many.
Will give it a try

Zero Odor will remove the scent for our human noses, but it is not an enzyme cleaner so it is not actually getting rid of the urine properly... Anti Icky Poo is an enzyme cleaner hence more effective... Unique Distributors Odor Eliminator is another product. Both are found online... the Unique Distributors product I think works out cheaper but the perfume is not for everyone.

Thanks. Picked up some anti icky poo and a feliway plug in today. We'll see - thanks for all your advice - will let you know what works, but feel free to keep the ideas coming!

We had a similar problem with our F3 male. We put him on kitty Prozac and started putting a puppy pee pad in the litter box with no litter at all. He likes peeing on the pad. We were to the point you are. I'm so thankful he is doing well now. Ours definitely prefers men, so I've been the one giving him his "treat" (medicine), and he's warmed up to me more too. Good luck with yours.
