So, my breeder contract recommends FRVCP and rabies at 16 weeks. Should I definitely get them separately? What about distemper?
Panleukopenia (the 'P' in FVRCP) is feline distemper. It is usually easier on a little kitten to get the FVRCP and rabies at different times, but I know many vets who will give them at the same time.

I´ll often give my cats their rabies shot a week or so after the other ones, but that is just to keep things simple: only one vaccine to organise!

The students get experience with large cats, too, as part if their program.
