One of the major points AR is trying to make for the ban of Savannahs, Bengals, and Chausies is their potential to have a negative impact on wildlife and they cite the 14% extinction rate caused by feral cats. And yet they make no mention of the fact that 99% of threatened species are at-risk due to human activity.

And yes, exotic species are listed in that source as part of the problem. But, they refer to non-native animals, those brought in from other areas to a new place where natural predators don't exist and this includes a whole lot of insects, birds, amphibians as well as bacteria and viruses. We cannot deny that feral animals negatively impact wildlife. We are trying to gather data that will hopefully show that the majority of SV, Bengal, Chausie owners keep their cats confined indoors or allow them out restricted by leash, stroller, or outdoor enclosure.
