I asked the question of motivation to determine what her objective is. I'm guessing her soft food is part of her motivation. With my food motivated boy, we wait as long as possible to feed him. It's a regular feeding time, just the latest possible time slot available in the morning. Likewise, we wait for the latest time for the boys last feeding of the day. The later they go to bed with a full belly, the longer I get to sleep in.
Oh, you can also control the quantity of food if you know their daily intake. The boys get 3 feedings a day, no on-demand food, 30% breakfast, 30% late lunch, and 40% their late, late, late dinner. Works well for us!
I think her objective is simply getting me up and out of bed most of the time, as in she wants attention. She's actually on pretty much the same schedule as your boys for the soft food. She gets her breakfast when I get up, her mid-day portion around 5:30 and then her late night snack around bed time, which varies from 10 to midnight depending on if it's a week day or not. Sometimes she won't even eat her breakfast right away, so that makes me think that she really just wants attention and not necessarily her soft food. =/
