The pictures are great, and Boris looks awesome!

Any chance you can board Boris with the shitzus? Otherwise, be sure to send plenty of his favorite toys with him, as well as his regular food and bedding. If possible, stay with him for awhile after taking him to the boarding facility so that he knows you are okay with him being at this new place. You can also consider taping your voice to be played for him once or twice a day. There are actually pet nanny cam devices that allow you to not only monitor your pet but to talk to him as well, however I have no idea if they are available in your country. If so, that would be a great way to 'keep in touch' with Boris while you're gone.

Thanks Patti, and sorry for the late answer. The shitzus will stay in the hotel in the same place and with the same people they are used in the vet for 2 and 3 years, so I'm not very worried about them. I'm searching for an hotel with cameras available, but just found one for dogs. Anyway, that place seems the best option as its very well located, have many pictures, and the cats have a complete floor, well separated from the dogs. The tip about taping my voice is great, I'll see if they can play it twice a day at least.

Two months I own Boris (or he owns me, who knows). Boris is very curious, its giving me a (god) hell of a work here in the house. Luckily I'll be moving to an apartment in 2 months, so things should be easier as I'll not be very worried about him escaping, just the incessant need to play. Obligatory picture below, our last Monday walking in the garden. :)

Hello everyone, its been a while since the last post so I though I could post an update.

We moved to an apartment in December 2016, you folks can imagine the fun with all the boxes. He got in some trouble a few months before as he got his way out of the house and was bitten (presumably by a dog). We took him to the vet and make the surgery. Giving the meds was quite difficult but happily all that is in the past and he is much safer now.

He and the two shitzus sleep together almost every night and are in a great relation as you can see in one of the four pictures below. It was near 0°C that day (yes, we have a nice winter in the very South of Brazil) so they were gladly sharing the heat.

Also, he is even more curious and always stretching or rolling on the table/floor when the tablecloth is not in use.
