Cancer in Savannahs

Brad Frankham

Savannah Super Cat
Nuk had her ophthalmology appointment today they're going to monitor her for another four months to see if the pigment changes but in their opinion she will lose her eye.
Even though the melanoma could be benign
It will change into malignant cancer.
They can't do laser eye surgery , they will miss microscopic pigment and it's those that will be more dangerous for her so the safest option is to take her eye out.
They can do a eye biopsies but it's not 100% guaranteed it will show whether its cancer or not and if the test do come back all clean
it may still tern it to cancer later on in life by then it will be to late for her
