Cat Carriers

I have the sleepy pod regular version carrier. It was the one they promo'ed at the cat shows when first designed but they are a pain to port around. My F2, Confetti, liked it for shows tho' as she would sleep in it like a bed. The airline version is nice as it will strap to a carry-on luggage with wheels- no wheels on it tho'. I like it for vet visits as it is very comfortable for the cat and can be opened from the top.

My most recent acquisition was the Tutto and I don't know how I survived without it. It has a strong steel frame that can be folded down as needed to fit under airplane seats. It is on wheels so easy to carry on a any size cat. There is a large size compartment with pockets and room to store all sorts of things. And you can pile up to 90lbs I believe on top of it so instead of lugging 2-3 different items through the airport I am essentially only wheeling one.

No, the frame would make that difficult - it can be carried like a briefcase or wheeled like a suitcase.

George's brother
I am glad to see the large Pet go can be used on airplanes. When I got it I was concerned it was too big.
Question when you are flying how long can the cats go without using the litter box and how do you deal with a layover situation, I am trying to imagine portable kitty litter??? How about when you get to your hotel, have you somehow packed litter and a box? this is so interesting especially as I would like to take George with me when I need to travel at least when he is young.

I have traveled coast to coast last year with 3 CATS! I brought a Sturdi collapable litter box and a cat harness with me. I would put paper towels in the box in the airport bathroom and all my cats used the box that way. I got some strange looks! Once they used it, I rinsed it out, put it in a plastic bag and went on our way. Cats and dogs both can hold it and will often do it is nervous as well.

I couldn't remember the name of those, thanks. Someone sells them at the cat shows. Joyce uses one as well and she loves it. It has a pocket in which she can get her laptop in as well.

Yes, I saw them at the jersey show and should have picked one up there since they are usually cheaper.
