Best wheel is the Maclaw Wheel, but it is handmade in the UK and they no longer sell to the US.
Second Best is the Go Cat Wheel, by our sponsor. Much better than the One Fast Cat Wheel and is more expensive for a reason - it is just sturdier and better made. They also give us a discount, but you have to use the banner through this site...

Depending where you live, I have found some great used cat wheels on Craigslist. I have not bought any as I really don't know where I can put it but if I did, that is the first place I would look. Sometimes people get them and their less than active cats who never show interest so they wheels are nearly brand new.
I have had the Cat Wheel Co. wheel and the Go Cat Wheel (one of our sponsors). I prefer the Go Cat Wheel for a few reasons - first it's bigger so more of my cats can comfortably run on it, it's less expensive than the Cat Wheel Co. wheel, and the Cat Wheel Co. wheel started developing holes in the plastic backing where the plastic wraps up from the tread to the back of the wheel. To be honest, I've only had the Go Cat Wheel out for the cats for a few weeks so don't know if I will run into any issues with it over time. My Cat Wheel Co. wheel was probably five years old (or older) before it started developing problems.
