I have seen that one Chris and asked about it...I don't like the open spoke design, but the designer said he has not had any issue...that being said, my favorite is the maclaw wheel

No way I would do the spoked one without plexi over the spokes. It's a broken leg or hip waiting to happen without them especially for multi-cat households. Doesn't even take away from the design elements to do it.

Thanks for all the information. I've been looking for a wheel myself, but spending over $1500 is not happening. I'm POSITIVE IT IS THE BEST WELL MADE, many hours into trying to find a good wheel that works properly. And for a decent price, looks like there aren't many choices. Watched uTube videos to see if I could build one. Any additional info is greatly appreciated. I love your new wheel Paige, however space and HEFTY price prevent my kitty from having that particular one.:(

Would appreciate some info/ feedback on the company "pet wheel". If anyone has a wheel of there's. They have been perfecting the 48 inch model and it is ready to hit the assembly line. $529.00 + $70 S&H standard price. Would love to hear from someone who owns one. Thanks

This is not much different than the one I have from the cat wheel company...same material - steel and plastic...I would not recommend it, although if you want it as a first time wheel, it will be ok for a little while

I speak only from experience with the old 43" wheel with a 9" track. The smaller one was suitable for only one Bengal - not even a Savannah - at a time. The smaller one also swayed madly with a Savannah's weight on it. Nitro was scared stiff of it.

Also be careful not to bang it. I must've popped one of the rivets out when moving it to/from storage; had to reattach one of the spokes to the plastic tub via a drill and some new hardware.

The one I made myself (for two weeks' hard labor and less than $500 in materials, mind you) has a 16" wide track and a 54" inner diameter. And it looks amazing...just saying...

I just found the Cat Wheel Company's Toy Go Round cat wheel is available in Central Fl for $380.00. The website is www.bearbrookbengals.com. Sue
Here is the wheel I have from Maclaw...

I'm certain this is the best on the market... However it's out of my price range. I know it's very important for my kitty to be able to exercise and for that reason alone I won't give up the search. Just don't want to believe that the cat exercise wheel choices are so few. I guess that is why so many on utube have decided to make one on their own....out of mere frustration. Which is where I am! GGG rrrrrrrrrr
I thank everyone for taking the time to inform me and for saving me $525.
