Considering a Savannah F3 or F4 male

Toooooooooo late;)
Ha ha ha! No, John, most people don't care or even know what questions to ask. I'm telling you, though, if you ask questions like I presented, you would probably get a better feel on the breeder you are interested in buying from. Make sense?

And I just thought of something...people may not ask me because it is on my website that I show, etc...as are photos ;)
You openly discuss your showing, though- I don't really have to point out I exhibit to anyone who contacts me on here or Facebook, but when I do talk to locals, I will mention that I actively show. I actually think due to the anti-breeding laws that are being pushed throughout the United States that this is VERY IMPORTANT to bring up to 'regular' people. Sorry- we are losing too many of our rights and I AM not the same as a puppymill who just pushes out animals and doesn't care where they go or if they are improving the breed.

Chirps & Massive Headbutts
Hi Bill, if it helps in your decision, Shango (my F2 male) is extremely loyal. He is obedient, probably more active around the house than typical house cats when playing (he sleeps a good portion of the day for me though, more active near night/morning). He has very cool characteristics that I believe (could be mistaken) come from his Serval bloodline (~35%). These include extreme tail fluffing when playing (very cool), chirping and barking when playing and some occasional high jumping ( :) ). He's my first Savannah...3 months ago I honestly didn't know of a Savannah and began to take interest like you when I had to put down my Persian cat for FIP. Savannah's are just a great breed. They're very intelligent. I took notice at first due to their extreme height/length (not all, but some) and personally like the golden spotted varieties. I like them so much, that Shango's new playmate will be arriving this week! cheers, dj

Dj, I don't want to burst your bubble, but those are savannah characteristics, not necessarily having anything to do with serval percentage...

Ixas does the exact things at times ;) And he is an F5 SBT
