Could this cat be a Savannah?

I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right spot, so please let me know if I need to delete and post somewhere else.

Do you guys think this cat could be a Savannah? She was a pregnant rescued that had been dumped along with a Russian Blue and a cat that looked to possibly be part Bengal. There is no history on her at all. Her two surviving kittens have CH.

I think she looks like a very pretty Domestic Shorthair.

While I do understand that for adoption purposes, it aids rescue groups to label a cat with a breed name (and that is great for the cats)...the reality is that most cats in shelters are randombred domestic cats.

I think her eyes and head shape are more Bengal in appearance than Savannah, but she is certainly a pretty girl!

I agree- not a Savannah. I have seen some cats from the Orient and some of the islands that have that big ear'ed look. One that really looked Savannah was posted in a Thai rescue group but I knew it could not possibly be one. You just have to consider how random that could possibly happen. Sure someone's stud cat could get out and breed the general population but is like a dog that someone says is a stray 1/2 Dane and 1/2 Bermese Mountain dog? It is just unlikely that would ever happen randomly!

As DumaLove says, any cat sold without papers is a mixed breed domestic cat. It might have some Savannah heritage but there is no way to know.

The face looks possible but it's hard to tell from that picture, kittens tend to have larger ears that they "grow into" when other breeds like Bengals for example. There's too many spotted breeds of cats for that to identify it...
