I look the pic right after they had breakfast this morning. The heat is one and there's a vent right above where they're sleeping. The do play a lot on it but I couldn't help laughing to see them all stretched out and snoozing on their exercise equipment.

I love it! Cats know how to make do - sleep, play - whatever works, as long as it's up high...

This is so cool. I love this. I could only dream of being able to do that one day.

Overhead walkways are nice for the right cat, but our male has never grown up , if you walk past him and he is in the top level of his cat tree, he will try to grab your head or hair with his front legs if you are not watching and get to close, he won't bite or scratch but his claws are out so you stop and pull him off, he thinks it's fun but this june we will have a 2 year old big kitten, the big boy got a nasty surprise yesterday when he jumped on top of the refrigerator and landed on the freezer door and his weight pulled it open, he hung on with his front legs while his rear legs where trying to grip the air,my wife saved him but it was funny.

I have overhead walkways all over my house, Carl, and Ixas loves to swat people...but at 7 feet in the air, there are not many people he can actually reach on the catwalks ;)
