Awww, sniff, this makes me so nostalgic. I'm assuming you're going to drive down to get him. If so, I hope you don't have to listen to several hours of kitten opera on the way home.

Who knows, this will be my 4th long road trip with a new Savannah kitten. One meowed until he could meow no more (Chongo), One meowed on occasion and hissed each time he caught your gaze (Dino), and one was as content and as happy as could be to get a ride and have someone to hold him (Monte). I'm hoping for the latter, but he'll be well loved no matter what kind of fuss he puts up.

Can't wait!

John, how did you come up with the names Chongo, Monte and Dino?
Ahhhh nooooooooo, why did you ask him that?! Now he's gonna take us deep into the recesses of his brain where nightmarish thoughts crash like lightening through his corpus callosum and the answer will be fraught with oblique references to irrelevant rock musicians or, heaven forbid, The Carpenters.

Umm....that was in response to WW........I was not making a comment about Karen Carpenter's "box".

Yikes....a frightful Pandora's box indeed!
Yes, we can only hope that Trish's vote carries more weight than John's since he has a proclivity for unusual names that are the laughingstock of the feline world. Ya know, names such as Grzxpr, Humperdink, Delmonte, Joecockerandreabotticelli (nickname cockerbott) :big grin:
