Do Savannah's mature differently than domestic kittens

It is nice to see and hear that I am not that unusual in my tendancy to accept any cat that asks for sanctuary. You are good people! I sure wish there were more like you in the world.

How do you deal with a multi-cat house hold? Do you have fighting or spraying issues?

If I could I would build a cat sanctuary, maybe if I can get this fence escape proof..but hubby would kill me:)) We are on the last day or so of the fence and by god if any get out after this I truly give up. I'll post some pictures when we get it done..a 3 year challenge. Then I get to build fun spaces within this "Kitty Kompound" to keep the territorial issues down. After that it's onto inside the house with vertical spaces:)
I have to go feed the critters, but will be back to finish the never ending saga of life in our ever changing rescue home:))
On with the story while hubby makes breakfast:) Gotta have some perks.

Kingston was the name we gave this boy Kingston.jpg he was the king of his domain) who showed up on our doorstep, we think he might have been left by the previous owners, due to his familiarity to the house and he was not left for long due to his trust of humans. Anyway we tried to integrate him into the fold, but he just was too territorial, so we surrendered him to the local SPCA, knowing they have strict guidelines on allowing cats to be adopted. We would visit him at the local pet smart to make sure he was doing ok, we really liked this guy, personality galore, so his new owners have got themselves a get cat:) Yes he found a home with in a couple of months:))

Hoping I'm not boring you guys, but putting it all down in one spot is allowing me to see some trends, especially with Tigger and hopefully see a solution.

Gotta go breakfast..back in a few
Cheers

It has been years since I had a housefull. I am now down to 2 female Savannahs who I am still trying to introduce.
When I did have many cats, I did not have the problem of spraying, but the hissing and disagreements were there until everyone had gotten used to each other.

Have you considered consulting Marilyn Krieger, the Cat Coach, or other cat behavioralist to see if they would have any recommendations for you? The book Naughty No More that Deborah recommended, or Cat vs. Cat might also be helpful. I can't remember if we discussed pheromone therapy but you might want to try putting up some Feliway difusers. Also, be sure you are using a really good enzyme cleaner such as Anti-Icky-Poo or Unique distributors to clean the spots where he is spraying.
