So the second litter was born about 2 weeks prematurely. All of the kittens were too weak & didn't survive she said they were amazing and beautiful and that the momma cat is really sad. It's so terrible, feels like we lost the kittens with her. This is the part of bringing these beautiful animals into the world that breaks my heart. Breeders, I don't know how you handle it so often

I also would find it hard to breed high generation savannahs.
Such problems come to often.

I'm so sorry the second litter was lost. You are right, that is the hard part of breeding :-(

Definitely this is the downside of breeding, there can be such heartbreak as well as there can be joy...

Every single kitten lost is heart-breaking. If it didn't, then it would be time to walk away from breeding.

It is heartbreaking. Sounds like momma cat is doing better lately though. So sad.

We're still waiting to hear what the genders are of the 3 kittens from Isabella's litter. Look how precious these babies are!
