I have only gone to cat shows twice, the last one a breeder told me that only F5 and up can be shown, to show a F3 it would have to be in the pet class, I will not be showing any cats due to the time it takes.

No, an F3 cannot be in the pet class. It would also be a minimum of F4 and to be shown as a Household Pet it needs to not fit the breed standard in some way...so be a blue or marble etc...

Not everyone wants to go to a cat show. My motivation has been public education, we get to see many people at cat shows that have never met a Savannah before but have read all sorts of things on the internet that need to be discussed. The fact that they are not the size of labradors, that they won't eat you whilst sleeping, that they are not wild and dangerous...

I love my supreme savannah cats and kittens ;)

Seriously, guys...there will always be one or more kittens in a litter that stand out...and I suppose we could all start calling them supremes or elites :p Since my Zuri is from one of the large breeders, I can honestly say I don't buy the elite or supreme BS...however, this is still a free country (sort of), so anyone can use any term they wish for marketing purposes. It is up to the buyer to do their homework...and if you happen to fall in love with a supreme or elite and have an excess of cash, go for it!

I think what everyone also has to remember is that breeders have many expenses in raising kittens and depending on the lines, how close the kitten is to the standard, etc., determines pricing...
My blues are ultra-rare couture kitties ;)

Terms are just terms- unless they actually have some meaning with TICA or within the established breed, it's just terminology someone is using to sell you something.

Cats shows can be over the top boring but it is the friends and the wins that make it fun. Nothing worse than going to one with NOONE you know and not get a final. But even a bad show can be fun with the right people! I never say myself as someone who would enter to a cat show. Never say never. ;)

If you don't know anyone, then it's time to meet someone new! That's how I ended up chatting with Peterbald breeders and HHP peeps last show. :D

What I am looking for in a kitten is a talker, trainable, and loveable... I want a kitten that will do crazy things and keep me wonder what is next. Where I do like the spots, ears, and facial expressions, I am primarily looking for a pet for me..... Where I want a very smart talkative Savannah, I do not necessarily want one that will take my cell phone and call people :)

My F5 boy is a talker, he is easily taught, a quick learner, and a certified therapy pet. He is the most loving cat I have ever encountered. He has never met a human he doesn't like and immediately try to become friends with.
My f4 boy is less trainable, and less talkative, but extremely cuddly. He is the most demonstrative of the bunch- whine at the human, charge at the human, snuggle with the human and purr. He frequently makes us late to work due to his cuteness, but he still doesn't know his own name. Not so smart, but a wonderful cat anyway.
My f3 boy is very vocal, very playful, and very good at training us. He is not cuddly. He is more the trainer than the trainee.
All three are with us almost constantly. All three are wonderful members of our family. I bring this up because you may find what you are looking for in something other than an F3 package too.

So true Nikki...Taj is an F6 and walks like a dog on his leash, talks to me constantly and head butts like crazy. I cannot hold him, but he sometimes curls up with me and i hug him for quite a while. He sits, stays, comes and jumps over hurdles...
