Everyone has given you lots of great advice, I would just emphasize that you can relax and enjoy your new baby. If you are stressed she will pick up on it, so don't worry that she is scared right now, that she is not spayed, or that she may change the dynamics of the household - change is a part of life, it can and should be viewed as a good thing. Try to accept her for who she is - if she never becomes a loving, playful, lap cat just respect her terms of acceptance into the family. Hamish will probably be ecstatic about having a new playmate, once he gets used to having her there, but that should not change his relationship with you at all.

Please keep us posted on her progress, and send more pics when you get the opportunity.

I have some progress to report. She was hiding for several days but has begun raising cane at night. She has be prowling around and knocking things over with my grandson in the room. Last night he wasn't coming home so my daughter slept in with her. She had quite the crazy night. She kept walking back and forth over her and when she fell asleep she bapped her in the head. We named her Luna and I think she's kind of unique looking. I will post the pictures that my daughter took last night. She has a long neck and her ears do look bigger when she's out investigating. Her color is very pale. She doesn't look quite the color of any others I've seen. Her tail is thick and short which is kind of servilly. I'm still stumped as to what she is. My groomer said that she will try to get her papers when she feels like it is a good time to ask for them. I think the poor man who owned he before has taken a turn for the worse and we don't want to bother his wife about this now. I think she is beautiful and very intelligent. I can only imagine the mayhem that will ensue when she meets her brother and they start running together. It's well worth it. Let me know if you have any guesses after seeing these pics. They're not the best but I think they show a lot more about her. Thanks!!

She appears to be a silver spotted tabby Savannah... just the brownish tinges you see are what is termed "tarnish" and is a color fault for silver cats in the show ring. I think Pam is still right, she could be F2...with those legs and neck which are the proportions we want to see in our breed and that short thick tail..it's still really hard to get a look at her head shape and ears in those pictures...

She sounds like she is settling in, being more active means more comfortable and nighttime often feels safer as it is quieter and less activity around...

Sorry - reading of my phone so the color could be off. I definitely agree she could be an f2, I would guess with a Bengal mother or grandmother given those rosettes I see.
Yes I did get Hamish as a kitten and spent week in a room with him getting to know him. I now have a wonderful, loving , devilish best friend. I am going to try to post pics again. The cat with him in the one pic is Simon a 13 year old Siamese who put up with his brother' s harassment most of the time.

We are making progress . She seems much more relaxed when she comes out. She definitely likes her food. She had really taken to the Rad Cat raw. Here are some better pics.
