F2 female

Hello

Does anyone have a female F2?! I was going for a boy but already have a boy and a girl (not savannahs) and was concerned about spaying and size, fighting issues ... So I've gone with a beautiful F2 girl ...

Sorry, are you saying that you have found an F2 girl or you are looking for one? As long as the cat is altered you shouldn't have an issue with spraying (I think that's what you meant) whether male or female, but just FYI, if you don't spay be aware that females can spray as much as the boys (I have a couple who spray more than the boys!)

Thanks, already having a chap I've gone for a girl as usually this will avoid the problem but yes absolutely all will be at the vets to be neutered as my other female is ... as soon as ... Any difference in personality!!? I'm guessing it all depends on the cat ... She's the most cuddly in the litter and a purr monster

Females tend to be more assertive (bossy), active, and persistent; males in general are more laid back and easy going.

I guess it does depend on the cat, the only one of the litter I preferred that liked being held was the female. The boys all didn't like it and appeared to want their own way!
I guess it's 2016 and we shouldn't stereotype gender in cats hey
They were all amazing, great breed. Magical cats they truly are!

I've not got her yet .... So excited ... I want to know everything first ... I'm already Savannah mad ... Once you have the bug that's it and I'm hooked ... Bit concerned about the girl V boy thing but I already have a male cat and having had two male cats before growing up I know they can scrap ... So maybe a girl best ... I have a princess Devon Rex female and I'm sure she will be fine ... Not the fighty type

I would have said that girls tend to fight more, possibly more minor spats but the more female cats the more potential issues in my experience. If your existing female cat is a "princess" and wants to be left alone then I hope your new SV kitten is not the rambunctious type that doesn't take no for an answer but thinks it means "try harder". Hopefully your other cat(the male) will keep her occupied!

The breeder tells me she's calm and well behaved and having met the litter she appears to be!

Devon Rex cats are playful and similar and if they want to avoid each other then I have the space ... I had two males and even neutered they still try cover each other's smell up ... So both have downfalls I guess, a swing from an F2 male worse than a female too - smaller less weight behind it, all in the training hopefully.
