F6-Savannah kitten will not use a litter box!

I agree with the above - leaving home at nine weeks old is too early and I suspect she was never properly litter box trained. Cat/Kitten Attract usually works wonders and would be a good first step. You might also start putting the pee pads in the litter boxes to see if you can get her to start going in the boxes that way.
Putting some training pads in the litter box sounds like a great idea ! I'm also hoping that the cat attract works well.

Thank you!

I know it sounds cruel but have you tried putting the kitten in a crate with a litterbox? When I reached out to Akila's breeder about peeing outside of the box she said that is how you retrain them.
Oh, no. I haven't thought to try that. In the beginning I put her in a room with a litter box. She went right next to it but never in it.

I realize shouldn't have let her out until I could get her to go in the litter box but she didnt like to be alone. Her little crys broke me down. I was hoping when she saw my cheetoh use the litter box, she would want to too. No such luck.

At the risk of sounding dumb ( LOL ) what is a Cheetoh? Is that the color or breed? I have never heard of that.

A Cheetoh is a cross between a Bengal and an Ocicat - Idon't think there is any cat registry that recognizes them, and I don't know of many breeders.

Thank you Patti....they are beautiful!!! The breeder that I got Akila and Kebi from also breeds Geoffrey’s.....they are really cool cats too!

I was just rereading the posts and another thing you can try is sprinkling a little cat nip in the litter box. I did that with Akila and it seemed to work.

Just another idea, Find out what kind of litter the Breeder used and try using that... A lot of cats don't like changes just like many of us... We are Brand Specific!

BTW, Very pretty kitten.... I see a lot of good fun years for you in the future.
